The Striker API defines how striker scanners will report their scan data and the data structure itself to Striker daemons.
Overview
Striker queries all files stored in the cgi-bin/scan.d directory for version information.
- If the scanner has not been seen before, striker will query the scanner's SQL table structure.
- If the scanner has been seen before, but the current version is newer, striker will ask the scanner for the SQL upgrade information.
SQL Structure
Striker expects the scanner to respond to the -p switch by printing out the PostgreSQL SQL table(s) to be used to store the scanner's data. An example would be:
