RJ-45 Pins
RJ-45 Pin 1 is top/left most pin when looking at the connector with the retention clip facing down.
Male
Clip is behind the connector.

Serial Connector
The DB-9 Pins are labeled both on the front and on the back of the connector.
Serial Adapter
This connector does not reverse the send and receive pins.
