NAME

anvil-rename-server - Tool to rename servers.

SYNOPSIS

anvil-rename-server <command> [options]

DESCRIPTION

This renames a server (and the DRBD resources and LVs below it). Given the nature of this program, it runs on the node directly, and SSH's into the peer(s) to update the DRBD config files and rename LVs. Note The server must be stopped before it can be renamed!

OPTIONS

-?, -h, --help
Show this man page.
--log-secure
When logging, record sensitive data, like passwords.
-v, -vv, -vvv
Set the log level to 1, 2 or 3 respectively. Be aware that level 3 generates a significant amount of log data.

Commands:

--confirm
When not running as a job, you will be asked to confirm the rename. Using this switch tells the shutdown to proceed without asking first.
--job-uuid <job uuid>
This is the job UUID used when the request to rename came from the Striker UI.
--new-name <new name>
This is the new name of the server
--server <current name>
This is the current name of the server to be renamed. This is optional if '--server-uuid <uuid>' is used.
--server-uuid <server UUID>
This is the server UUID of the server to be renamed. This is optional if '--server <name>' is used.
