 AN!Wiki :: Wdmd

The watchdog management daemon, wdmd, is a program that runs test scripts in /etc/wdmd.d/ directory. If all of the test scripts pass, wdmd will reset the watchdog's timer. If any tests fail, the watchdog timer is allowed expire, the host machine will reboot. This way, a failing node will reboot automatically, hopefully restarting in a healthy state.
