AN!Wiki :: Fence agent |
In clustering, a fence agent is an executable script or program that takes arguments from fenced, interprets those arguments and acts on them to perform a fencing action against a node via a fence device. The agent will then exit with a defined exit code telling the fence daemon whether the fence action succeeded or failed.
The API defining the bahaviour of a fence agent is the FenceAgentAPI.
An example of a fence agent can be found in the Node Assassin Fence Agent article.
