HTML is an acronym for HyperText Markup Language. HTML is the programming language used by developers who want to present static or dynamic websites to a user's web browser. In turn, a user's web browser, like Mozilla's Firefox, will render the raw HTML code returned by the web server into the final webpage viewed by the user.
